Thinking about all the papers and take homes I have to write in the next week or two makes me grimace. Custom-sewing my Santa suit with delusions of a stylish, edgy new design, to realize after a painstaking hour I'd only succeeded in sewing my arm to my side. Well, I did smile eventually. _________________ Today's special is Poached Go To Hell. |

watching a final episode of one "Average Joe: Hawaii" on television the other night and seeing the beauty queen choose the hot guy "Gil" over the typical average joe "brian" only to wind up being rejected herself because of her history of dating Fabio...... my roommate and I laughed ourselves silly!!! _________________ I wash my hands of those who imagine chattering to be knowledge, silence to be ignorance, and affection to be art. - Kahlil Gibran |

I thought being home for xmas already would make me smile. After being stood up on a date earlier today that changed, I was really pissed and decided to go to shoppers to get a magazine or something to read since I was stranded in Halifax for a good few hours. When I got there the store was crazy busy and this woman ahead of me in line had about 200 things and had to leave line to purchase more things because she was 10$ short of getting a discount or something like that. At this point I was not impressed. After waiting a good 10 mins to buy 1 thing, I realized there was this beyond cute little girl, about 5 years old, in front of me (who I originally thought was with the woman) place a little stuffed bear on the counter and ask how much it was. The cashier told her it would be about 10 dollars and the little girl reached into her little pink purse and bought the bear for "her very best friend for christmas" with all the money she had. This was too cute and really cheered me up, funny how a child can make you really appreciate the simpler things in life (sorry for the book guys! |

the notion of being rated makes the idea of being a professor so much more appealing to me. ...is that vain? _________________ The village has to take responsibility for its idiot. |

You're sweet.

hahaha... guilty as charged! Also, I had to post here because something just made me smile and I want her to see it. hahaha it makes me smile when I read J-mae's posts because I always read them like a poem. I don't know what makes her format her posts like that... hahaha but she does. And it's cute. I'm always confused when it doesn't rhyme. hahaha <3 |
