Hey folks, As some of you are aware, we are making the giant leap from phpBB2 to vBulletin3.8! (Yippie!). We are currently opening the new Beta site to open testing. Please try and maneuver around the site, and give us some feed back. Remember, this is only the Beta, so everything may not be quite in place yet. You should be able to. Your username and password should be the same. What errors are you getting (if any)? |

It said that my password was incorrect and that I had used up my maximum number of log in attempts after one failure. Edit: Actually, I just tried again and it worked. I must have just typed my password incorrectly the first time. |

Yay for clicking around! Everything I've tried so far has worked. I was going to upload an avatar, but that seemed to be disabled. Everything else seems functional. I have aesthetic questions though. Is there a way to change how threads are displayed so that the little profile bar with the poster's name and avatar doesn't take up more space than one line messages? Seems like an awful waste of space. Also, is there eventually going to be any other color scheme to pick from? |

There are two ways ("postbits") I can set it for, the "Legacy" (ie. the way it is on this forum) and the "new" vBulletin way (ie. the way it is on the new X-Talk forums) |

Umm is everything supposed to look the same? Its different when I first get on but when I log in it all changes back to what it used to look like (grey) |

i messed up my password once and it told me i had used 6 of my 5 login attempts and then wouldnt let me sign in again. counter now working well? |

When I look in General Discussion, "There have been no posts in the last 30 days in this forum." I'm logged in. Most of the latests posts shown on the main page aren't actually the latest posts. |

The forums are two different softwares. They don't feed off the same database structure, and therefore cannot use the same database. The data from each database has not been synced for at least a month. It will all be re-synced before we move over. -Dan |

Wow, I'm a bit surprised these forums are still the same as how I left them. I assumed that whoever became the web dev after me would have wiped everything and started anew.
