Students at STFX know how hard buying textbooks can be on an already struggling student budget so our goal is to make it a little bit easier for you. We would like to petition the university to allow students to transfer the cost of their textbooks to their student accounts. One trip to the bookstore can cost well over $400 which for some students is hard to come up with at one time. By allowing for students to transfer their textbook costs to their student account balance they would have more time to come up with the money required to pay for them. This would be very helpful for students who are waiting on student loans to come in or whose parents would be willing to pay for their textbooks when paying tuition. Students who pay their own way through school would also have the convenience of paying for their textbooks in partial payments rather than all at once.

This shouldn't really be relevant, you can easily half the cost of books by ordering them online.
